Rebrand and public image
Emergency Management Service of Georgia
What came in
A national service with a fleet, a uniform and a public image that had grown by accretion. The task was wider than a new mark: make firefighters and rescuers visible and respected, and give the service one visual system that would read on a fire truck at speed and in a press release.
What we did
- Rebranded the service: a refreshed mark and a design system built around it, then adapted across everything the service owns.
- Designed the livery for the fire-truck and boat fleet and the rescue vehicles, and the uniform structure down to the chevrons, with functionality and safety shaped by firefighters' own feedback.
- Ran the public-image program: media films, special formats, 3D graphics and visual incident analytics, and press relations for national-scale emergencies.
What changed
One visual system across vehicles, uniforms and public communications, and a service the public began to see differently.
